True story... I was once in a small boat (only big enough for three people) with a couple of friends and we were "jigging"... Anyway I hooked into a stingray and it actually hauled the boat (I had like a billion pound pressure line) about 20 feet. We had to cut the line or we probably would have ended up in Ireland somewhere.

And now today is Shark Week! Holla!

It's all about the multi-billion dollar "shark finning" industry. It's pretty sad... At one point they show this poor shark who had his/her fins removed, and he/she just sinks to the bottom of the ocean.  Poor thing never had a chance...

Sometimes when I'm fishing, I pretend I'm a giant, and the fish are Great White Sharks. It's cool to see them jump out of the water after flies and such. I pretend I'm in danger, but really I'm not, because they're just fish silly!!!
